I prefer the original, i like it.
Absolutely amazing. Now I need to make something ww2 related as well.
M2 brass is ejected through the bottom, links from the side, just for future reference. Awesome picture though!

The blur is way too strong and everything is way too soft.
I like the edited one.
The pose of the gunner makes the entire tension of the image. Doesn't feel like an image trying to be as good as possible, but an image from a camera man who where there, and that's way better for these things. If I were you I'd make some scratches on the side of the Sherman and even dirt on the tracks if you got the time for details. Also fix the blur on the dead soldier as his relation to the ground makes it feel 'out-of-place'.

You can almost [I]feel[/I] the tension in this shot.
Updated the pic with some of the advice posted here + more stuff I thought about. What do y'all think ? I'm not really a fan of the tracers but I guess they're passable. The paintings look photoshopped and unmounted
The original one looks a lot better, just because it looks less photoshopped
