Good build. Did you place the fire light off camera though? It seems like it's coming from the right rather than the fire

Definitely, it makes the most sense. The visual difference may not seem like a lot at first but its that extra mile that makes a scene convincing.

Maybe have two opposite-facing lamps with a large field of view to cover the areas that are seen.

I'm not the best at lighting, I've only been doing this for about a year so I guess I just didint think about placing it there.

Ideally, you should place the light exactly where the light source is. So your lamp should be INSIDE the fire.
