the blur effects are too heavy, it's difficult to tell what's going on.

Hmmm, In certain areas or just overall? I had a feeling it was too dark, but thanks for the feedback.
overall, in the whole pic. it's got a bad lack of focus going, because the heavy blur, overall darkness and added chromatic aberration effect come together to create what's a rather smudgy, messy result.
