Okay, so i had been working on a game mode recently, hard drive corrupted, lost it all,
I was using LUA to code that, cause i haven't seen to many tutorials and i really don't understand fretta,
By the looks of fretta, it looks like you can still code lua, but i don't really know, okay, so
I want to code this (I'm not asking for code, i'm asking am i able to do this in fretta)
Rounds, with a 10min timer
Put all players to team 1 and set 1 random player to team 2
make a custom spawn point on a map,
Player loadouts
set player models for different loadouts
play sounds globably when there is one player left on team 1
play sound to client when killed AND is on team 1
When team 1 player dies, switch him to team 2
set player speeds ect
At the end of the round, have a gamemode vote, where you vote for the gamemode you want to play next
after voting for the gamemode, depending on the gamemode that was voted, there will be a map vote
but those maps will corrospond the vote
example
If sandbox wins the vote, another vote with "gm_construct" and "gm_flatgrass"
but if TTT wins then it's votes for TTT maps, ect
(BTW i am not actually doing that, just an example, i will be doing that with my gamemodes i make)
That's all i can think off for now, you can just quote this and say "-Yes" or "-No"
To the things i can and can't do
EDIT:
Also, in fretta can you make it so when someone dies they go to spectator and fly around spectating
Fretta doesn't exist as far as I know.
Fretta is just a gamemode framework - it was coded in Lua and uses Lua.
However, Fretta no longer ships with the game, so you can't really use it.
Okay, thanks
