Hello all,
Recently, I've been having this problem with my server where i keep getting a error after trying to connect to my own server. The error message is as follows:
In Servers web console: Dropped Nexus Radical from server (Client 0 overflowed reliable channel.)
On screen: Client 0 overflowed reliable channel.
I load in for less than a second, i can hear the ingame volume and see the worldspace but get disconnect right before i can react.
Yeah... I've opened a ticket with my server host but to no success, they said they updated TDAdmin panel at around about the time i started getting the error, they also said that the update is causing problems, but i doubt that is the cause, are my doubts sounding valid to anyone else? anyway...
I've done things like disable all the addons on the server and did all i was able to in this thread: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=5057-FVCM-1111
I have literately no clue on whats next. No viruses, done a register clean & restore. Still nothing, and multiple Server restarts and PC Restarts. Only one other of my friends was on when i restarted my server and started getting the error, he got the same problem as me too. I undid the changes made before the server restart but still no success.
So, what should be my next trouble shooting step?
-edit-
I've done a full uninstall of Gmod too, and got ride of all the addons on steam not within my servers collection.
Do you have a virus on your computer? "You have a Virus or Trojan or Internet Worm infection that is generating traffic".
No, i did a full scan with 360 total security and did detect 1 thing in the System settings, guessing that would be fixed so yeah.
Basically, no virus 'detected' at any point.

Problem located, My addon itemstore, needs to connect to a SQL server,so i thought, well maybe somethings wrong with its database since only me and only one friend is getting this issue as we were the only ones on the server after the deadly restart. So i removed the addon and hey! I can connect!
To anyone who is getting this issue, I'd advice you to move addons one at a time in your folder to another on your server, basiclly out of the addons folder. Suspect any that connect to another database.
Hope that helps.
