Hello,
On my TTT server whenever a player shoots a shotgun, on the client side it shows perfect spread like its suppose to, but server side tells a different story. http://imgur.com/ldLUjhA,KZtYdOQ,eEBLz87#0 . In the first image you see the shotgun client and another player shooting the same exact shotgun. The second picture shows the players shot by itself. The third picture shows just the client side spread. Essentially what is suppose to be a shotgun turns out to be a 80 damage sniper rifle at any range. I'm using the TTT Flippys weapon pack if that helps with anything. I googled all around and I cant find it, but if there is another forum related to this just let me know. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
EDIT: This only happens with ALL shotguns(including the base gmod shotgun), not any other weapon. Every other weapons spread is perfect both server and client side.
Clarify again what these pictures mean, I'm not understanding
Okay, so whenever I shot the gun, the weapon spread was completely normal like a shotgun should be which is the third picture. But I had another person in my server shoot and it showed up and it looks like one slug, all the bullets didn't spread at all shown in the second picture. Picture 1 shows the comparison of my weapon spread on clientside verses when another player shot the exact same shotgun. Does that help?

So essentially, the client on my server believes its a shotgun but when the server translates it as sniper.
UPDATE: And I tried to add a new weapon pack to see what effect that had (the M9K weapon pack) all the crosshairs and spread was broken as well, but the default weapons for GMOD and Tflippy's weapons(other than shotguns) work. I'm really stumped.
Did you change the SwepBaseClass "weapon_tttbase.lua" / "weapon_base.lua"? or any other files?
Uhh, is CSS mounted?
1. We changed the weapon_tttbase lua cone to .5 to see if it made every weapon like a shotgun, but it didn't change the spread of the shotgun at all, it was still the slug formation.
2. CSS is indeed mounted because we have all the other CSS assets
I just replaced both of the tttbases with fresh files and it didnt fix. Any other suggestions?
Fixed it: Anti-cheat messed up life. RIP.
