Unknown Command "gm_giveswep" - Developers

When people who don't have the weapon pack in their addons folder try to spawn weapons through the spawn menu they get the error Unknown Command "gm_giveswep". My gamemode is derived from sandbox and works properly in every other way except this.. Any thoughts? They are definitely downloading properly because if given them manually they can use them with no problems. They can also get the weapons if they enter gm_giveswep NAME in console..

gm_spawnswep or gmod_spawnswep I believe.

Sigh, i wnt to this fourm for a solution. This is my problem aswel: I click a weapon from the weapons menu and it says: Unknown command, gm_giveswep So how do "we" fi this?

What gamemode are you playing in? Sandbox? If so, go to your garrysmod/garrysmod folder and then to go to gamemodes, then delete the folder called sandbox if there is one. Then restart garrysmod and try again.

Ok.... Hopefully this isn't some cruel trick. Ill copy my sandbox folder just incase <_<

Ok I deleted my sandbox and base folder and went into GFCscape and re-pasted sandbox and base.... it didn't work. BUT! For some reason when i play C:SS maps it lets me spawn weapons..... Like WTFBBQSAUCE!

Weird. Type: [code] gm_spawnswep weapon_deagle [/code] in the console on a non CS map and see if you get a deagle.

For some reason when you play multi-player then singleplayer the GM_giveswep is messed. BUT when you start up Gmod and just play singleplayer the code works. But then again this only happens to me....
