Basic "how to do" Thread.

I figured there should be a thread that basically told people the basics of modding.

Questions like "How to make a basic swep"
and "How to make npc"
and "how to make gamemodes"

etc.

Can anyone who is good at any of these give answers? I want to try out making my own sweps and npcs so please help.

We shouldn't need threads for 'how to do's, there's plenty of them in the wiki. I'f you're stuck or don't know, request some one to make a page.
