I'm thinking about studying informatics engineering. What should I do?

Well, I'm just in 10th grade, still 3 years in school left, but I've heard from other people that we need some basic preparation/notion before we land on informatics engineering's university. So that's what I need from you guys, what should I try to learn through the internet, something very basic, as I don't know a single thing about programming and I don't want to be shocked when I meet the university. It's just the notion, about what kind of information I am going to learn there, that counts.

Some people talk about learning something about html, others talk about c++ and others even talk about AutoIt (or something like that)...

I've modified some files and have some experience with lua, but just really a very little experience, as I've just modified lua files, and didn't create them from the beggining.
