Hi, i am completely new to these forums and therefore i do not know if there is a previous thread with this issue on it so here goes:
Basically whenever i start a new game in gmod after downloading a new weapon pack, no matter what i do they always do not work for a variety of reasons.
reason 1: They shift to the left, as in they are on the left of the screen instead of the usual right, that would be fine its just that if i use a scoped weapon or a weapon with a zoom, the gun moves further to the left, off the screen in fact.
reason 2: whenever i fire a weapon a massive red 'ERROR' appears out the side where an empty shell should pop out, this is extremely distracting when firing.
reason 3: the firing sounds for some of SWeps i have cannot be heard.
I have followed the installation instructions word for word, i have re-installed GMod twice to get them to work and nothing happens.
Also my friend seems to have the Half-Life 2 weapons in the weapon slots when he starts, i do not have anything in my weapon slots when i start and the only guns i have are the PhysGun, Camera, Tool Gun and the Manhack gun.
Please can some one help me, im only a noob.

That button does nothing, and i have re-installed several times to get this to work and nothing is happening, i do have the steam version of Gmod if that makes any difference.
