We had quite a few issues with people crashing when downloading the font bebasneue.ttf, so we removed the font from the resource file. The I tried to add new HUD, and instead of using the custom font it came whit, it's using the bebasneue font. IDK if it's working for clients that haven't downloaded the bebasneue.ttf, but I can't find it even in my personal client to try deleting it. Anyone had issues with fonts like this before?
its a font, its a thing that contains pictures of the alphabet and how exactly do you think it crashes, random knowledge
I know it's a font... Something was fucked up about it, people would attempt to download it, there gmod would crash. We removed it from resources, then people wouldn't crash. I don;t know or care who it works, all I want to know is how to get the other font to display.
use a different font or fix the one you got
Putting another font in the resources file not only doesn't fix the problem, it makes you download it every time you load into the server.
