Alright, so, I was told even with an Anticheat(!cake), that non-clientside files can still be stolen from your server if sv_allowupload and sv_allowdownload are set to 1, but wanting sprays to work, I figured I'd only need upload set to 1, so I set download to 0, and now sprays only work on some clients. I'd rather not allow files to get stolen from me, but I am not sure how to patch over this. I tried using SprayMesh but players HATED that system simply because it requires a bunch of console stuff. So, how can I get Sprays working without compromising my server files?
I think the new update said something about fixing certain things being able to be downloaded. I wouldn't worry about it.

The amount of different ways people have found around the fixes makes them fairly useless.
Problem is I thought you just needed Sv_allowupload set to 1, not download. I guess this is incorrect?
you could probably make an even better version of sprays with pure lua, you could even allow people to use raw images as their sprays. Since this is Garry's Mod and you have access to lua and all that shit, why not make your own?
If someone else was nice enough/bored enough they could make it and post it on facepunch.

Honestly, if the guy who made SprayMesh will make it have a !spraymesh menu where you can start setting your URL instead of using console as well as make the settings a bit more simple, I'd be fine.

Derma's not hard, you could make a menu for it yourself or just deal with using cvars, it's not that hard to use cvars either TBH.
