Okay, so i've been through the lua tutorial series. I know the basics of lua, but i'm not sure where i should go next. Please could somebody point me in the right direction?
Make some simple concommand functions which kill's everyone in the map or does things to certain players only and keep working on that till you have enough knowledge to make some sort of simple gamemode.
I'd suggest downloading something from Garrysmod.org that you'd like to use to base something off of. Go in the lua and find out what EVERYTHING does.
Then start a new project and try to use the stuff inside to do something similar, and use new stuff from the Wiki. Pretty soon you'll get the hang of it.
