sound.PlayURL causing client crashes when playing .pls streams?

So I've noticed after using a bunch of different radio addons that playing .pls streams usually works, but something is causing clients to crash under certain conditions that I'm not able to narrow down because, well, the game crashes.
At first I assumed something was going on within the addons themselves but the same result happens when I just run the playURL function myself.
To give an example, at one point playing a 3d .pls stream worked for myself and 2 other players within its radius while one other player crashed as soon as the stream started playing. I've also crashed several times(1 in 5 roughly) myself trying to test it in singleplayer on sandbox.
Anyone have any ideas as to what the cause could be or if there's any log files I could look into?
Never heard of a crash issue since it was added, yet.
How does that .pls file look like or what is its URL?
Does it happen with other playlist files too?
It's happened with fragradio once but I usually try out my own since that's the end goal. I only broadcast on it when I'm testing though.

What is the format you stream in?
While developing an radio addon, I noticed that codexes/formats such as AAC, AC3, MPEG4, etc. could cause error 41 or -1 when played as 3D sound. But they work fine without 3D, though. Fragradio's format is one of these above. This may have something to do with the installed codexes in the OS, I guess.
I'm currently using AAC but I'll see if swapping it around helps, thanks.

Switching to MP3 encoding fixed it, yeah. Thanks!
