Where would I find the Effects folder?

Where would I find the sprites and effects folder?
I just started LUA Scripting today, and I quite rather like it

Started off with something small and short, like a Torch, except I can't find the effects.

Help much appreciated

Well, I got something working
It is a torch, something basic

But the effect is way off from the tip of the gnome, where I want the flame to be
