how would i go about getting a distance between a player and a wall and finding that the wall is 180 degreees

im trying to get it so when ever a player touches a wall that is vertical they will die :P

You can do a TraceLine and check the distance apart you are from the object.

Using HitNormal will also help you figure out if the wall is perpendicular to the ground, or any other angles for that matter...
