I'd like an SNPC of the Creeper from Minecraft. It walks around, then when you come near, it chases you and explodes. Sounds aren't necessary but would be appreciated. Also, Gmod-style explosions would be fine.
You'd need someone to rig the model to use HL2 NPC animations (I think)
And why would that be? It's a scripted NPC, so couldn't it have a custom skeleton?

Why not just make snpcs of all of the minecraft mobs
