Welcome to the 1st annual Lua Scripting Awards! This is the Great Gamemode thread, where you get to vote on your favorite gamemodes of the year.

A round based gamemode based off of the Chimera Lab section of the GBA game MOTHER 3. Every round a random player is chosen to be the Ultimate Chimera, a big pink monster who wants nothing more than to kill everything in its path. The Pigmasks (soldiers in pig outfits) are there to put a stop to him. To do this, they must turn him off by pressing the big white button on his back. Getting close enough to do that however, is not an easy task.

This gamemode is aiming to be a perfect replica of Team Fortress 2 in Garry's Mod, this means that the gameplay should be extremely similar, if not identical to TF2, but with the numerious advantages of Garry's Mod. Ever wanted to run through Ravenholm as a Pyro? Alright. How about going on a decapitating spree in City 17? Why not. Building forts out of cargo containers and then deathmatching on them? Go for it.

OpenAura is a versatile roleplaying gamemode framework which can be adapted easily into different roleplaying environments using 'schemas' and 'plugins'.
It has a variety of different schemas, including: HL2 Roleplay, Fallout: New Vegas Roleplay, Severance (Left 4 Dead Roleplay), Cider 2 (Real-Life Roleplay), Phase Four.

I wish someone would do what they're doing for the TF2 gamemode, and make a Counter-Strike gamemode. I think people could create some really interesting additions to it, like rappelling, or third person, or even just retain the core game. Stuff like that.

The only difference is the majority of people I send that to should all be quite familiar with the LS scene, unlike Conna's fans.
this contest is supposed to be about who made the best gamemode. not who can whore the most people to vote for something.

Voted OpenAura again. Not bcuz Kuro asked me to. Because it is actually a decent gamemode if run by mature players, and is not attacked by angry owners of other communities. On a side note, no I have not purchased OpenAura, I am not a fan of somescripter either.

Tick. _Kilburn's gamemode's pretty amazing, and he's made nothing from it. I personally think he deserves to win, but any (par Conna) deserve to win this.

Ideal-Hosting is using their marketing funds to advertise via FP titles. They said I'm next. It's an annoying prospect, but oh well.
