Tired of those people putting on thruster sounds, and ruining your gameplay?
Well, i'd like someone to create an option to turn them off.
Sure, there's a thruster-effects checkbox in 'hiding', but that stops the visible part, not the audio.
To be able to turn thruster sounds off would probably be a simple script, but I can't code.
There's nothing more annoying than a foreign minge spawning huge thrusters everywhere going 'Shhhhhhhtt'

You can use stopsounds to stop the really constant ones. But I understand that you want something that prevents them, aswell as stops them. But stopsounds is very useful for getting rid of the incessant ssssSSSSshhhing.
Well, People usually tap the thruster buttons to get the speed they want.
so its "Ssssshht-(stopsounds)..Shhhht"
That's a hacky solution but you could put an empty sound file in your Garry's Mod folder at the location of the thruster sound, and that sound would be played instead.
If it's your own server just edit the tool to remove the sounds.
