Making a image appear infront of a character?

Hello, I'm trying to make an image appear infront of my character.. example a Mask infront of my face.. Someone suggested using a prop and setting the material..but that wont work.. So what do I use to make an image appear in game?

If you want a 3d model, use a clientside model attached to the head bone. Otherwise use cam.Start3D2D and draw the model there.
