• Spacebuild idea: Actual spherical planets.

This isn't quite a request, I just put it here because I couldn't think of a better place for it. I was playing around with the Spidermod, and I started wondering, would it be possible to implement something like that into Spacebuild? I know gravitational pull on players and props has been done a few ways before, what I'm suggesting is adding the element of spherical planets to the mix. Two possible ways of implementing the gravity: The SB Planetary Gravity. The gmsv_physics binary module. Am I being too vague? Planets that aren't just a platform residing within a ball in space, planets that are actually spherical that you can walk on, and not just until you fall off of them, actually walk full circle from your I also found a video which pretty well demonstrates the type of planet I'm talking about. I think it's possible, if a bit complicated. Of course I don't know jack about Lua, but I still think it would be interesting to see it attempted.
Someone actually worked on something like that before but I dont remember in which thread it was. i mean as a part of improving spacebuild as a gamemode, also with instancing and creating planets proceduraly.
rotating the players was as buggy as hell
gravity: possible! view rotation: also possible! proof: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmzsJA0rePY sadly tho, idk anyone who's actually posted a working project like that. It'd be fun as hell if something like it came out tho
Use GMove, easy as hell and what not :) After its simple phsy-x :)
Ulysses universe is working on this...
