REQUESTING: NPC Spawning, Pathing and Actions instructions.

Hello and thank you for your time, I would like to ask anyone if they could provide me with some instructions, or links to tutorials on how to:

Spawn a certain type of NPC at a certain place at a certain time.
Map the path for the NPC to follow after spawning.
Imput commands and actions for the NPC to follow.

I'm not sure but isn't this all classified as "scripting"? If someone could answer that I'd appreciate it.

I am completely new to this kind of thing, so any help would be appreciated. Again, Thank you.
