While the fixes to the HL2 weapon damage are great, I've noticed an issue with NPCs (not likely players, but haven't tested yet). Headshots from HL2 weapons have greatly diminishing damage. This is most noticeable with the AR2, SMG, and Pistol. Using the 'Hit Numbers' addon, I figured out the damages of HL2 weapons divide themselves down to below 1 point of damage per shot for consecutive headshots. Example: the first headshot from an AR2 on an NPC deals 22 damage. The next headshot delivers 9. The next delivers 4. The next delivers 2. The next delivers .7. The numbers can vary, but they do keep decreasing on consecutive hits. For campaign players, this can be a pretty big issue. I'm not sure if anyone else has reported this yet, but hopefully this will get fixed either through independent addons or an actual update. Any ideas?
