Hell oh my friends,

I'd like to share with the world the brand-new super-easy [B]Garry's Mod Easy Addon Uploader[/B]•!
You just have to place a batch in your addon folder and run it: it does everything for you.

It generates the [I]addon.json[/I] with provided information.
It knows whether it's a new or an updated addon.
It tells you if the JPEG thumbnail is missing.

I have never tried GMPU.
Also my tool has no compiled code so I can't hide any malicious code. :cat:

And also my tool is the best tool ever. :boxhide:

EDIT: I have seen people going wrong with their addon updates. That won't happen with my tool.

Well... in terms of easiness, I've always found [URL="https://www.dropbox.com/s/ons5ruexecov23z/workshopper_v1_0.exe?dl=0"]this program[/URL] better and simpler than a batch file like the one you've made, and it even has a nice UI, but I can't remember where I found it

By the way, I'm just posting this here to tell other people that might not have known about this tool (I didn't until a few months ago) - not to deter them from your script (it's always annoying to write a working batch script)

Gmosh is also really nice. All its bullshit gets saved in the addon.json which makes updating super easy.

Actually I made my tool in order to make upload easy for my friends.
I did not really know what to suggest to them, so I made my own one.

Actually it's good to have other solutions than mine. :smug:
