• srcds startup problem.

Hello people, I own a garry's mod server, and have for about eight months now. When I first started my server, I started srcds, and it opened this very helpful window. The window was like a regular .exe program, it was an orange box, and you could easily ban/kick someone with a click of a button. You could also view how many people were in your server, and see who was in your server too. But lately, whenever I start up gmod, now it starts in this terrible looking command prompt looking thing. How do I get the old window back?!?! THANK YOU ALL!!! -- Kimzey
I don't think you can, without coding your own. I know I never used it. Just use the console. It still has all the data that the GUI had.
ok, but how do I see how many users there are and stuff like that?
I don't think you can, without coding your own. I know I never used it. Just use the console. It still has all the data that the GUI had.
Yeah, that would have been some custom interface over srcds... if you type status in the console it will list all the players

It will show the map, current # of players out of the total slot count and I think the gamemode.
