I am having trouble with the fastdl on our servers and its not working Ive tried every thing i can to no success can anyone tell me whats wrong and when it will be fixed please

I'm sorry, but it's fairly accurate. Updating the Linux GMOD dedicated server alone is like playing Russian roulette.
FastDL will still work if you arent using Bzip2 files..
It just kind of negates the purpose of FastDL is all.
Fast download is working for me on the CentOS distro. I installed gmod in a non-rooted folder and chmod'ed 755. Soft linked it (ln -s dir name) to the apache server and I am using html download and its doing just fine.
