I'm wanting to buy some sort of education on Lua, for a book, or online lessons (professional business if online). If anyone has any recommendations, or what I should do to learn lua, please let me know. Thank you :)
P.S: and yes I know the garry's mod lua is GLua
try smaller coding, and look at the "known" lua tutors, as seen in the sticky threads.

Oh wow, some mod just copied and pasted my thread :(
Some of the entries in the garrysmod wiki are understandable and a great resource. Take a look at the index here https://www.lua.org/pil/contents.html#1 and start small, stuff like the "types and values", "expressions", "statements", "functions" . Lua is a really cool language, the way it does tables is great, also its neat how with lua you can generate more lua code that runs on the fly.
