So, today I've been working on a site called Luahire.
Inspired by _Undefined's Coderhire site idea a while ago, I thought why not... At the moment it's using wordpress and I have no idea what I'm doing really with it, but if anyone wants to use it, feel free, it might be easier to find jobs than the current 'browse thread' method.
If the site proves to be useful to some people I might decide to further develop it.
At the moment you can add listings and reply to listings, you can add photos to listings also but I want to make it so you can use icons if you prefer. (Could do with some help if anyone knows AWPCP).

There are also categories, which I thought is pretty cool.

Any CC is very much welcome, I'm open to ideas also. link
I like it, maybe some type of steam ID driven account system with user ratings? Rip off, shitty coder, ect. It would be nice to see less people get screwed over for things they shouldn't even be paying for in the first place.
The account system is driven by steam (kinda, I don't think it's possible to login without connecting through steam), I'll work on the user ratings though.
I believe there was something like that in progress already.
By _Undefined I believe
Thus

And browsing through the thread was starting to get on my nerves, so I thought I might as well try and make one.
It's definitely not as pretty as his but I think if people use it it will get the job done.

Just noticed also, there's no registration page, I'll have to fix that tomorrow.
But if you're interested in registering you'll need to attempt to place a job then it will ask you to register.

Please report any problems with the site, there's a bugs section at the top. Fucking around will get you banned.
Healthy competition?
Either way I'm excited for both.
I think CoderHire is the one to go with to be honest. It's more functional, looks nicer and is, above all, well polished.
I think we need this now lol
Yea, seems coderhire is gone, it's upto LUAHire to save the day!

Happening to just me? or you guys too?
Hopefully this one won't get closed for "commitments".
- already closed ;-; why must good things all fail!
I would do something like this but due to paypal making it so if someone did a CC chargeback to me I either couldn't be a medium for payments or make it so you need to wait like 30 days before cashing out.
If I did it I'd use Stripe.
