• GMOD ports timing out.

I'm having trouble port forwarding 27005 and 27015. When I check the ports, I get: Error: I could not see your service on x.x.x.x on port (27015) Reason: Connection timed out. I have both of them port forwarded in my router, but windows firewall is blocking them. When I allow inbound connections on the private profile, it works fine, but when it's blocked it doesn't. I have added a firewall rule with UDP and TCP on both inbound and outbound with the port range 27005-27020 but it still is timing out.
Do not ever trust "port forward checkers". They are not reliable. Any such tool would tell me that all my ports are closed yet I can host a server when needed anyway.

Thanks, I wouldn't have thought to try to join if the website displayed the same error as when I couldn't connect earlier. I just assumed it wasn't working.
