How do i make somthing thats not on the workshop fastDL...
Will my server have to be 24/7 for this to work as im building it still???

Doesn't need to be, could just run apache with a dns from noip.
If he doesnt know how to set up FastDL...I dont think he is even going to know what that means.

I set mine up so that it points: [url]http://localhost/fastdl/[/url] which is in localhost_server_root_directory/www/fastdl/
With folders: materials/, models/, sound/, etc...
And the server needs this in server.cfg:
sv_downloadurl [url]http://localhost/fastdl/[/url]
Change localhost / etc with your host.
