I am making a post here becuase I need this problem fixed asap and my thread on the ulx forums has taken 3 days to get nowhere. So here's the problem...
I needed to reinstall ulx on my server. So i backed up my bans.txt file and reinstalled everything. When I try to upload my old bans.txt file it renames the file to bans_backup.txt and keeps all of the people I perma banned in a new bans.txt folder but it only shows their steam id and that they were perma banned. It doesn't show which admin banned them or the reason.
My original bans.txt file looks like
"STEAM_0:0:XXXXXXXX"
{
"unban" "32909654226"
"time" "1373654226"
"name" "Big Head Bob"
"reason" "Hacking"
The new bans.txt file looks like this.
"STEAM_0:0:XXXXXXXX"
{
"unban" "0"
In my server's console it shows this error.
Bans file was not formatted correctly. Attempting to fix and backing up original
Error while reading bans file was: Bad input on line 1
Original file was backed up to ulib/bans_backup.txt
Does anyone know how I can get my old bans file back? Some people who were banned are already coming back to my server!
p.s. I REALLY don't want this thread to turn into a debate about which admin mod is best. I've chosen to use ulx and you can't change my mind.
