I am helping to setup a server website and the MOTD I was just wandering what resolution does the MOTD need to be? I was thinking 1080p and then that scales down to other sizes,

Are we talking about creating a MOTD window in game or creating a web page for already existing MOTD window?

I was asking what do you need help with, the HTML or Lua stuff? You are not clear about that.
Your web page must be adaptive, so that it's content will properly fit on all common screen resolutions, from 1024x768 to 1920x1080.
And obviously the panel size must less then screen resolution, using a fraction of ScrW() and ScrH().
