I've moved to a new host, I'm using putty to control it due to not affording a game panel. When i run ./start.sh to start the server this is the complete error i get.
Add "-debug" to the ./srcds_run command line to generate a debug.log to help with solving this problemFri Oct 31 17:19:26 UTC 2014: Server restart in 10 seconds
I have -debug in my srcds run but i'm not getting a debug.log
If this is in the wrong section then i apologize.
I assume you're running linux but what distro and version? I run servers myself on a Ubuntu 14.04. There may be some dependency you need, have you looked at the guide on the gmod wiki?
I found the solution.
I just needed to run steamcmd to validate all the files.
I changed from workshop dl to regular web hosting fast dl. Now I'm getting the same problem, Validating the files does not work.
// Reopened
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
I'm blind. That's the error that i get before the actual debug thing. >.<
