I've seen a few threads recently about people who want to get into scripting for Garry's Mod, but have very little experience with Lua, or programming in general.
Case in point:

I think it would be beneficial to have a stickeyed thread at the top of the forum with helpful links to tutorials on how to program in lua, and programming concepts in general. It would be a great general place to link people who seem to lack the necessary experience, yet want something to build off of to help them learn. The post itself doesn't have to contain any actual tutorial in it; just a few links to other helpful lua and programming guides would suffice.
