How can I get the texture of a displacement? when using HitTexture from a trace result it only returns **displacement**
Don't think you can through Lua. If you are not looking for Lua way - mat_crosshair
is that the only way? this requires sv_cheats to be enabled edit: I need the texture to be sent to an entity for use as a submaterial.
You cannot use world textures on models, the shaders are incompatible.
