Help with animation script? Very taboo discussion about legality as well? - Developers

The parts I've not coded are free on the workshop already ( Robotboy's addon ). The animations from different games are also on my workshop as extensions and I don't take credit for them. And your method of obtaining it was through leakforums so obviously I wouldn't help you with it. Also that "DRM" is there just as a stop for initial kiddies coming in with scripthook or something and grabbing things 100%. Also I am working on contacting steam to have your account removed for illegal selling of mods without their authorization. If this falls through I will make sure justice is brought to you

I don't sell any animations either. Frankly all I've done is edit them at best so it works with what I coded. None of that is included in the price of the "addon" And that would be interesting to see. I'll link you to some other people you can report too for selling these types of things :rolleyes:

I'm not forcing anyone to buy it? There's plenty of alternatives. For that price I am doing [I]work[/I] for that community. If you want to use that leaked addon, go for it, but you have to make it work yourself and not complain to me about it. I can't stop people from downloading the addon, I can only keep working on it and try and make my services worthwhile to the people that did ask for me. Best of luck to you

Since this thread seems to be getting more and more off track, I suggest getting a refund if possible and just buying a working version of the script. This forum is mostly for developers to help eachother, not for fixing large amounts of code, especially if it's written by someone else.

There's no reason to throw yourself away because something is difficult at first. I learned on my own and although I'm not the best I can get a good grasp of things. Dedication is all it takes. Thats why I got all legal and shit even though I don't have any knowledge. I would love to buy the mod though, I have some money. It works on singleplayer?

Lua is an incredibly simple and easy to learn language compared to any other language, and it's a lot of fun to use. I'm sure you can figure it out

I joined back in 2013 and quit because I couldn't figure anything out, everything I did always broke. That was with ragdolls so of course I can't do animation

When I first tried it I gave up really quickly since I didn't understand anything and I kept copy-pasting other people's code (examples from the wiki and stuff). Later when I saw someone was having a problem with one of my addons I came back and everything suddenly made sense.
