How to force thirdperson for a gamemode/completely disable firstperson?

Hi, I've searched quite a bit for a solution but I can't seem to find one. I'm trying to force thirdperson view for my gamemode, so that players are always in thirdperson and never in firstperson at all. I am new to GLua however I can't find anything on the wiki about thirdperson. Does anyone know how I would start with this?
