StarCraft II is now free to play. You can play any multiplayer mode for free without having to pay a cent, and the entire Wings of Liberty campaign is now free. StarCraft and StarCraft: Brood War from 1998 are also free. You can pay $15 for an HD Remastered upgrade, but you don't need it to play online with people playing the Remastered version. You can also buy the Complete Collection at a new low price. It also now includes Nova Covert Ops. This includes a bunch of challenges, achievements, and portraits. As a bonus, you also get four co-op commanders in addition to the three free ones as well as Artanis in Heroes of the Storm. A new Ranked versus season just started recently. The new commander is Han and Horner. I'm really bad at this game.
Never finished Void and Covert Ops. Should probably do that lol.
I have Karax in co-op mode, it says I have purchased him but I haven't played a single game as him and can't recall buying him either. Was he given as a freebie?
I enjoy playing StarCraft 2. It is my favorite video game. When I earn ladder points, I think to myself "yes". When my opponent earns ladder points, I think to myself "no".
who else grinding the war chest

Sorry to necropost but I couldn't find any other active threads for SC2 - Jumped into the game for the first time since 2011, wow things have changed. Resources seem like they drain way faster now, a lot more pressure to have build orders and expansions down quickly. I have no idea what this co-op stuff is. I used to be top 100 plat for 1v1 but I feel like if I try matchmaking now I'm gonna be potato tier.
Is there a timeline of changelog stuff I can look at? I'm even seeing that there's entirely new meta I have to learn now.
