I can't wait!
Not the right section just to show the video. if the topic was on the videos creativity I really liked the bird. I hope whenever they release meet the medic we can get that bird. Also videos with those robots are going to be sweet. [editline]14th August 2012[/editline] and that awesome cigar, and the bubble gum, and the....

God dammit. Someday I'll be able to make videos with this kind of quality. It's the kind of quality that looks effortless, which means it was anything but.
I absolutely loved this when I watched it. I seriously can NOT wait until Wednesday.
The music when the camera was translating backwards got really nice, I wish it did not end. But yeah I want this SFM project file, of course all the MTT project files are broken for me. Edit: American Currency Simulator 2012
Nice to see that even after the Meet The Team series is complete, Valve still continues to put stuff like this out. The MVM update totally could have came out without this awesome video and people would be pleased. They went above what was required by making it. Good on Valve, I hope to see more non-MTT shorts from them.
This rivals with the quality of Meet the Medic in my opinion. Such amazing cinematography as always. It was quiet, then it was tense, then it was slowly ascending in excitement, then it went full epic. [sp]I enjoy this video the most out of all the Valve cinematics, I think it's the best thing they've ever put out from SFM.[/sp]
I like the idea for a video for every update even if its just items added. Even if regular members make it and valve adds it to their blog, makes people more entertained. Anyways I think MVM will bring weapons with abilities to kill robots easier or something.
I find it interesting that not many people (none that I've spoken to) noticed that this was the first Team Fortress video in correct cinematic aspect ratio, whereas every other video they've done was in standard 16:9. A possible hint that they've now standardized their technique for whatever they're planning with Adult Swim? That and seems to be WAY fancier than their other videos, with tons of various particles and effects. I think they're up to something on the film making side of things.
I think the only thing they planed with adult swim was that hat. I dont think there was anything else.
Seeing that the community can make pretty good videos too, they always try to keep themselves on a level higher
VALVe was probably working on this for a good 2-3 months or so, considering the amount of content that had to be made for it.
I noticed the small stuff in the video like how the classes kicked up snow at 1:09 They had a whole team of people working on each video like any professional animation, while with us its kind of a solo job.
I keep seeing something on the paper blowing around at the beginning. But I can never get a good view of it.
I keep seeing something on the paper blowing around at the beginning. But I can never get a good view of it.
It's just darkened squares and lines to make it look like a newspaper.
I wonder if valve will release the music for it but have it extended.
I don't know what it is but the robots seem a bit weird for TF2. When I first heard the engines starting up, I thought a few of them had chainsaws (my guess is the engine noises came from chainsaw and motor bike engines).
I wonder if valve will release the music for it but have it extended.
I hope so, the music from Meet the Pyro was pretty dissapointing to not have any extras added.

3 - 5 more hours I assume till the update gets rolled out.

I believe they did something like this with the Pyromania update, too.
Today is Day 3. Day 2 was Tuesday.
