This was originally supposed to be for OSFM's Robot Week but it got a little out of hand and wound up taking over 3 months! I used After Effects to do the VFX and color correction. Premiere for editing. The map and all of the assets (with the exception of the character and chain models) are from the source mod Neoktokyo. More info in the youtube description.

The map was nt_subsurface from Neotokyo and I recompiled just one room using a cordon area in Hammer. I deleted all the lights (except one for HDR) and props and then placed models and lighting by hand in SFM. Kind of like a custom dark void. All in all I used around 160 animation sets.

All of the visual fx and color correction were done in After Effects, this includes muzzle flashes, bullet holes, flares, computer screens, energy effects etc...

Very nicely done! Some of the animations look awkward but that's no real issue.

Thanks guys! I know the animation is pretty bad but I never did character work before SFM so I'm still struggling to learn.
Okey first off , looks gorgeous second off....my only complaint is that some of the animations felt rather stiff / slow but other then that it was really good , the editing in AE looked like it was in game
