• Can't move sound clips in the timeline

Hello, I'm having this frustrating glitch for the latest 2 updates or so, basically I can't move the added sound clips in the timeline (green timelines, obviously) by dragging them. When I try to drag them to move them, the cursor turns in a black (X) and it doesn't move them, I can only make them longer or shorter, but "the content" of the clip doesn't move, so it's very annoying to move the sounds to where I need them. I've already tried to open a discussion regarding this issue in the official SFM community Steam hub, but nobody has found a valid solution, well... more precisely nobody replied at all... I've also made a video showing the issue itself: <iframe width="1280" height="720" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/oLQNQN5ubms" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <------ can someone please fix the code to embed it ? I'd be happy if someone here can finally find a solution to this issue, here's a checklist of what I've tried so far: * Restarting the computer (first thing I ever did: nothing changed at all) * Reinstalling SFM on the same hardisk (APPARENTLY fixed the issue for the first sound clip I imported, but afterwards it started glitching again) * Reinstalling SFM on my SSD (sped up a lot SFM but nothing changed) * Reinstalling SFM again on the previous hardisk (didn't fix the issue at all but now I also have totally white viewports making SFM useless) * Reinstalling SFM on my SSD for the second time (it's currently there, the viewports are now ok, but the issue regarding the sound clips not moving is still there) EDIT: I'm now reinstalling it into the same hardisk where my Steam lives... let's cross our fingers and see if it finally solves the issue once for all... <---- NOPE, nothing got fixed, please help me.
Bump, anyone can help me ?
I think no one has replied to you yet because they've never seen this bug before and have no idea what's causing it. Have you tried different audio clips (making sure they are 44100hz 16bit ) with different lengths? Have you tried putting the audio into other tracks besides music, such as dialogue, or effects etc...
Yes, I have this issue even with the TF2 sounds themselves !!! I really need help, I can't obvious work with this issue and neither reinstalling Windows 7 helped me. All started with the update that added the "Submit to Saxxy Awards" thing under the "Export" submenu.
Bump, yesterday my SFM had a little update of 400+ MB, now when I import sound clips instead of "0 Items" I see the actual number of clips, but I can't still move them.
What version of SFM are you on?
I'm on the latest version of SFM, which currently is: 0.9.8.3
Bump, anyone able to give me an useful and working solution ? I still haven't solved this issue yet, also yesterday I had to verify my SFM cache for other reasons, but nothing changed regarding this sound clips problem.
Bump, any help is appreciated :)
