um that last post does not help this thread. I think this is a big issue for a lot of people and it seems to me it stems from custom maps. apparently for some reason it seems all "custom" maps for the source filmmaker cause the map to be washed out in lighting and have that glitches. It would be nice if a more Offical or at least unified community stickedy sulution was put in these forums, given that the open beta has only been a few days though maybe we will see that in a bit. So far at least custom models seem to work ok so far which is good. But the real power from the source filmmaker will be being able to use custom maps as stages so. honestly the program needs better intigration with such instead of having to copy the game files to the filmmmaker directory it would be nice if it had a garys mod style intigration that as long as you have the games installed it can detect it and have no problems with custom maps. if they can be pulled up in garrys mod there really shoudnt be a reason why they cant in the source filmmmaker. but again this is a beta and maybe they will fix this soon i hope. but in the meantime some sort of agreed upon fix would be nice! thanks.
What I use to fix is decompile the map with BSPSource and recompile with the SFM Hammer tool with HDR ticked. http://ata4.info/bspsrc/downloads.html Doesn't work with maps with embedded textures though.
um that last post does not help this thread.
I posted the url and he used it, previously the image wasn't loading because he used some weird site. Also now that the image has loaded, its usually the lighting from the map that causes it. Ive seen it appear on any of my full bright maps, and never happen on my other ones.

It's the reverse of zipping textures into the bsp, I forget which program does it. EDIT: Turns out you can bust open BSP files with GCFScape, wicked.
