• Made A Stop Motion SFM Tutorial

Hey all. If anyone here was interested in creating stop motion videos that retain the style that was established by gmod videos using SFM, check out this tutorial I published recently. Let me know if I was able to help you out!
Why do this?
Why do this?
It's a style I guess
I think animation is measured in frames per second, not how many times you use the same frames in a row. For instance, if you're doing animation at 9fps(anime style), then you'd want to use 9 separate frames to animate that one second of your movie. You wouldn't want to show 3 frames and repeat each one 3 times. Yes that would give you 9 total frames but it's really 3fps since you only showing 3 different frames in that one second. On tutorials I think it's more effective to give a sentence or two on what you will be tutoring people about, then get straight into it. This video starts with two minutes of you talking about Gmod vs SFM, and the advantages of using SFM. I think you can assume if someone is watching this tutorial then you don't need to interest them in using SFM for this purpose, that's why we're watching this video, we are already interested!

I agree with you on almost everything. I just think that on this subject matter it was necessary to explain the purpose of the tutorial, considering some people don't understand why you would animate in stop motion in SFM. That's the only reason I would bother to explain that. But you make a very valid point, if someone is watching the video, they obviously don't see a problem with wanting to learn stop motion in SFM, considering that's what they came here to do. I just thought I'd clear up any confusion before I started my instructions.
