Hey guys, I'd really like some general animation help on this. First time I've tackled walking animation.
From the description:
P-body is meant to be in an "annoyed" pose by the way. Atlas' spine controls don't work. They completely glitch out, meaning I can't have a slight "sway" or whatever you'd call it to his top half.
P-Body's legs either need to move slower, or take smaller steps. I get what you're going for, but his legs are moving too fast to be realistic. Other than that though, and maybe some more subtle arm movement back and forth, it's pretty good. Also I'd move P-Body's Rig_Pelvis up and down more just the slightest bit.
I personally think you captured the annoyed walk pretty good.
I don't really see anything immediately wrong with it. But then, I'm not nearly so good at picking up inaccuracies in robots than I am with humans. :v:
As from what I can see P-body's legs don't seem to be affecting the torso enough, kind of like they're moving separately.
A good thing to do for practice would be animating the parts of the legs that are out of the shot, you'd see the mistakes right away
Try this.
