mtt_demo and mtt_scout would be nice to see eventually.

To get (mostly) an overload of non-effort edits? They gave us Heavy, Engie and Soldier to play around with, to make us get the basics of the program. As much as I'd like to fuck around with their other projects, I don't think they'll ever give us more. Just my opinion.

Even if we're gonna get a lot of "lul i just put some hats and miscs on the characters", it's always nice to have acces to Valve's work so, why not?
But think about it. Why would Valve release them?
To get a bunch of really useful props and sets into people's hands to make dumb crap with. Granted, a lot of those props have leaked out over time, but it'd be nice to have them in official form.

I love seeing how Valve does all the animations. It gives me something to aspire to! :-)
Ah, I didn't know they had confirmed it. That's cool. Can't wait to abuse the baby models.
