No, the story is not set in the Half-Life 2 universe. We are working on getting custom art assets finished but for now I'm using the stock HL2 characters to get motion and blocking down.
This is really good, I must say. The animations look really nice and it seems promising. However, the voice acting seems a bit, well, faked. It's obvious that those aren't the actor's real voices, and unless you're trying to go for a stereotypical comedic parody (which can work!), it will just sound really silly. Also, is that Corey Snow doing the voice of the sniper? Awesome.

I quickly hammered out the cop's line for timing purposes as I don't have an actor for him yet. And yes, that is the great Corey Snow aka Jimer Lins voicing the main character, Reynolds.
These are just [I]test[/I] renders?
I am impressed.
Looks very promising indeed. Can't wait to see more.
