Hey folks- I've seen various threads pop up for VO and such, and I thought it might be useful to have a thread where people can post their capabilities and policies with regard to producing vocal tracks, and others can post their need for vocal talent. That way we can avoid having tons of "I need VO help" threads. This should be for any and all who want to either do vocals or need vocals, regardless of experience or ability. I'll kick it off- About Me: I'm a semi-professional voice actor and do audiobook narration, but I also love doing character work for videogames and machinima. You can find my commercial demo and information at http://voxman.net. You can also hear my voice on the "Source Filmmaker Tip of the Day" video series. Vocal Ability: I have a deep voice that can be smooth or gravelly, rough or mild depending on your needs. I would be quite suitable for any project needing a mature male voice, and I can do a wide range of accents and styles reliably. I am a voice actor, not purely a narrator, and am capable of acting out a script as opposed to simply reading it. Policies/Pricing: For short non-commercial works (meaning it's not intended to make a profit) I request a credit and option to use any produced content in my own promotional materials and portfolio. I do not provide a full buyout for this kind of project; you can't use my tracks or voice in other projects without my consent. For commercial works (meaning it is intended to make a profit) I charge a reasonable fee, which can include a full buyout. I'm not union at the moment, so my rates are quite reasonable for commercial projects. What I Can Produce: I have a professional-level audio pipeline and excellent recording environment. I can produce dry or wet tracks, with any post-processing you desire, in whatever format you need (for SFM projects, I expect most will want 44kHz/16 bit WAV). Dry means pretty much as-recorded with little editing except to remove flubs. Wet means more fully edited to remove excessive breaths and potentially have a gate, compression and/or EQ applied. For non-commercial projects I can't provide a ton of editing or post-processing support, but the tracks I make will be usable as-is in your project.
god damnit you're just so great edit: as for voice acting I don't have much to offer sorry
About Me: I'm a non-professional, testing the waters guy, and I've got a voice I've been told is good. I've only done narration work before, but I'm looking to get into voice acting. Vocal Ability: I have a smooth deep voice, and I'm still experimenting with what emotions I can realistically convey. I would be suitable for projects needing a movie-narrator like voice, or "Cave Johnson" like announcing. I am just getting started, so I've got no idea what my limits are other than that I will try my best at whatever projects I'm given. Policies/Pricing: I'm nowhere near using my voice commercially, so as long as I receive credits and rights to use the material in the future, such as in advertisements, I'm game for a project. What I Can Produce: I have a decent quality microphone, and make up for it with access to professional sound-editing software (I do graphic design and video editing, so I've got the Adobe Creative Suite 5, and as a result I have Adobe Soundbooth). I'll post a sample shortly, I've already gotten a spot in a source film in production  [editline]1st August 2012[/editline] Time Travel Into the Wild Asbestos Here are some Cave Johnson quotes.
I'm just going to suggest something stupid that made me laugh. Here. It's already narrated, but maybe it's your kind of thing.

About Me: Hey guys, I'm Adamm Khuevrr. I've been a voice actor for about a year now, and in that time, been cast in quite a few different varied roles in video games, episodic series, and short films. Vocal Ability: I specialize in accents/languages and different voice types (Ex. Gruff old male, high-pitched annoying kid, etc.). Authenticity is very important to me, so I strive to create the best deliveries I can (Ex. For accents/languages, I study native pronunciations and practice until I can get it acceptable). Here is a recent (stereotypical) accent reel that I made to help showcase what I'm talking about: https://www.box.com/s/2a0769e31a7dbaee60d9 Policies/Pricing: I don't have any special fancy pricing/policies that I follow. Basically, if your work is not making a profit, neither am I. If you are going to make a profit, we can discuss payment privately (Pricing depends on how large the project is, and how many roles I voiced). What I Can Produce: I try to produce the best recordings possible, which means I will record as much takes as needed, and will continue to do so until your vision is met. I also can do my own audio work on my recordings (clean and spice up (Compression, EQ work, etc.)). And if there is the need, I'm also a composer but I'm afraid I can't do any free jobs due to the amount of projects I am currently working on. Here are a few tracks to give an example of what I'm capable of: https://www.box.com/s/1bf070c60a02488a7464 https://www.box.com/s/59d9d25688e0c4da41b5
About Me: My names Elliot and I'm not a professional VA (from lack of trying). Vocal Ability: I've been an impressionist for a while, I can do a variety of accents with varying degrees of success. I can sing if necessary for the role as well. Here is a sample Policies/Pricing: Free, I'm after notoriety but not money just yet. If you want to donate that can be arranged. What I Can Produce: I've got recording equipment and the whole nine yards so it really depends upon what you need.
About Me: Hey guys, I'm just a regular Finnish Facepuncher, totally non-professional and trying-shit-out type of voice actor. I'm looking to get some experience and I'd like to help in any projects that people deem me to be fitting in. Vocal Ability: I can go from a semi-deep to an almost faggy accent that sits somewhere between American and Finnish accents. Tends to lean closer to American, however. My pronunciation is not as sharp as most Finns and I'm still testing my range, but mainly I'm not the go-to guy for high-pitched stuff. Policies/Pricing: What the hell, I ain't even a pro yet, I'm free for however long I can waste my time. Just PM me if you want something done and I can help you out. What I Can Produce: I don't have exactly the highest quality tech, but no matter how much text you slap in my face I'm pretty confident I can record it. At the moment I'm way more prepared in quantity, but I'm looking to improve in quality too by looking at some nice microphones. I'll edit this post to have a audio sample.
About Me: Simple Welsh guy living at home and a casual voice actor. Vocal Ability: Can do a rather Tom Ridgewell-styled voice, as well as a (kind-of) impression of the Medic Pricing: None. What I Can Produce: British accents, American accents, a Russian accent, a German accent, and Tristan Taylor. (IT GIVES ME SUPER STRENGTH)
