I never said it was a rule. The use of "it doesn't need a thread" doesn't necessarily imply it's, well, necessary. But common etiquette would tell you to keep videos that are under 1 minute long in the videos thread, to keep down on spam which for the record was a rule during the beginning of this section of Facepunch if I recall correctly. I'm not trying to be a narcissistic dick here, but many threads like this have been shut down before and I don't see this one any different.
You realize this stupid "etiquette" cannot even distinguish between good content or bad. Good content can come in at any time interval.
Don't post in threads to say it shouldn't be one. Ironically that's actually spam, and rude too.
