Awesome Stuff, as I said to you on Steam Chat. I'm so glad you released this.
Woot it's finished!! Amazing work everybody!
Awesome so far! Thanks for your hard work!
First bug: symmetry on facial posing is reversed?

Yeah, it is. Not sure if we should count that as a bug though, but I have a fix for that. Maybe'll fix in the next update (with physics).
Another little observation that might help: Moving certain facial points causes other points to move a bit much (I think the brows are one of these? They cause her to eyelids to also move. The lower lips modify the upper lips.)

Eeeexcellent, this looks really professional.
Rated winner!
Just curious about the porting process: are the blend shapes and phoneme presets in the face the same ones created by the character artists at Irrational Games, or were they made by those who ported it?

Revzin had to create a whole new blend-shapes.

The blend shapes are completely new, around 150 of them. Maybe using her FaceFX assets from Bioshock would've helped, but I didn't use them. Also, Bioshock uses facial muscles (bones) instead of vertex animation.
The phoneme presets are taken from the Engineer, as they build upon the facial controllers - and she has the same setup as he does.

Basically pointing out that a model is HD, one that you've released, is liking saying the Sky is Blue.
Now do Booker! Mwahahah! *cracks whip*
(this model is really, really good btw - you just gotta learn the differences from the TF2 standard)

The next thing I'm doing are physics, then a HWM Reference Manual. I'm not so sure about Booker. He kinda looks like a TF2 rejected hobbit (Blasbo Blabbins? Or Baseball Bibbins?) to me. Also, this in-game model doesn't look like him from the game promo.

I'd rather leave him as homework for the guys who would've read the HWM Reference Manual.

For what it's worth, someone did a mesh mod so that he has more adult-like proportions (instead of looking like a dwarf.) It doesn't look half bad.

here's a picture of him in action.

Oh, and one thing I definitely want to point out that keeps messing with my posing: moving her head moves her eyes.
A lot. I always manually pose eyes using updown and leftright, and it's super hard to keep her focused on anything if her head is moving.
Hey Revzin, are you still going to do SFMPhys compatibility? Or are we gonna have to stick with animating the dress manually? :v:
I always belived in mother russia awesomeness.
I was right.
Also, can I just say that extracting phonemes with these models is really, really good. Takes pretty minimal amounts of fixing to get it to look fluid and natural.

Why would you do that? The viewtarget is there for a reason. :v:
Why would you do that? The viewtarget is there for a reason. :v:
I dunno. It's just what I do. It feels more natural, and like I have more control to quickly make tiny little adjustments. I'm sure there's really no big difference. Work preference.

I am working on it, of course. :) If everything goes smootly, I'll roll it out on Sunday... or next Sunday, 'cause I have an important Integrals & Differential Equations exam next week.

That's an intersting coincidence: when I tried lip-syncing on her the for first time, I used the presets form the Engie - he was in a shot, too, in the General Test Video - and suddenly it turned out good-looking.

That doesn't happen for me. (?)

Bam.
I'm gonna love using this model.

So far as I know, the fine gentlemen over at DigitalEro are working on getting the HWM flexes on the nude version.
I imagine you won't have to wait long. :v:

They are using HWM flexes from our pack?
@ DP Films
You should release the Elizabeth models on Steam Workshop - for Gmod and SFM - too. (Just a suggestion)

Come again? Apparently I've been out of the loop for a while.

Unfortunately models don't work in gmod. As for SFM workshop it can give a lot of issues while uploading so we are staying away from it.

So we cannot use them into Gmod? :-[ That's sad.
