Can't get dota 2 map to load

I can't seem to get any dota 2 maps to load. I tried the maps from these two threads:

I put maps in the directory, tried loading them, it attempts to load, freezes and SFM crashes without any display.

I can load any other map though.

[url=http://thekinsie.com/sfm/maps.html]Here's some fixed versions I started and help maintain.[/url] Those are roughly the same as the ones you linked, though - If those aren't working, what are your system specs?

I tried all the maps and they don't work (still crash). I put them in [B]dota 2/maps[/B] folder too. I have dota 2 mod already created ages ago. I've been using dota 2 models to create movies on maps other than dota.

Here are my system specs:
Windows 8 64-bit, Intel Core i7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.40GHz, 8.0GB RAM, Geforce 750M GT

Maybe try updating your dota content? You said created the mod ages ago, dota gets updated a lot.

I have reupdated all the files from fresh start and tried loading the dota maps. Unfortunately, still have the crash problem.
